The DIA Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management Strategies Conference 2017

 

Med Communications will be exhibiting at DIA Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management Strategies Conference 2017 (#PVRMS17) in Washington, DC on January 23-25, 2017. Our Director of Pharmacovigilance, Sharon Bathory, and our Business Development Manager, Stacy Witham, will be at Booth # 14.

As described by the conference’s website, “DIA’s Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management Strategies Conference is the leading forum for exploring insights into new technologies and innovative methods and how they can be utilized for pharmacovigilance in the broadest sense…This valuable forum brings together industry, academia, regulators, and patient representatives for thought provoking sessions and candid discussion of common challenges.”

The conference will have 1 full day of sessions on Sunday, January 22, with 2 full-day courses, including Course 1: Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management Planning and Course 2: ICH E2C (R2); The Quantum Leap from PSURs to Benefit Risk Evaluation (PBRERs): Background, Expectations, and Practicalities, and 2 half-day courses, Course 3: FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) and Course 4: FDA Pharmacovigilance Inspection Readiness. Sharon will be attending Course 1 to keep her skills and knowledge up to date.

On Monday, the conference begins, with an exhibit area on all 3 days, on Monday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Tuesday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Wednesday from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm.
