Join us in honoring women in pharmacy on October 12
At Med Communications, we have a large population of female pharmacists, so please join us in celebrating Women Pharmacist Day. Created four years ago by Suzanne Soliman of the Pharmacist Moms Group in honor of American Pharmacists Month (US) and Elizabeth Gooking Greenleaf, the United States’ first female pharmacist, Women Pharmacist Day recognizes the contributions of women to the pharmacy field. While a mere 8% of American pharmacists 60 years ago were women, today they comprise three-quarters of the field and 60% of new PharmD graduates. Join us next week in honoring the women past and present who provide critical health care for patients and families.
