Increase efficiency with a component authoring platform for deliverables 

One of Med Communications’ clients, a Top 10 pharmaceutical manufacturer, asked for assistance in implementing a new component authoring platform for content creation and management. This platform would allow for increased efficiency and consistency in the reuse of content across multiple documents in various global markets. 

After exploring a variety of platforms, the client selected a customizable component authoring platform that had received positive reviews from other pharmaceutical companies. Med Communications worked with the platform provider to create custom solutions that fit the client’s unique needs, and helped the client migrate large databases of existing content and establish a process for creating new content within the platform that enabled reuse of document components. This implementation has led to increased efficiency in management and execution of standard response deliverables. Med Communications is currently looking into ways to use the component authoring platform with other scientific content deliverables.
