April 7 is World Health Day

April 7 is World Health Day. Celebrated annually since 1948 in honor of the formation of the World Health Organization, World Health Day calls attention to a different topic of import to global health with campaigns and events. The theme of this year’s celebration is Our Planet, Our Health, with a particular focus on global health concerns such as universal access to health care, tobacco use, climate change, and pollution. We at Med Communications honor the medical professionals committed to helping address these and other issues in order to bring us closer to better health for people around the world.
